How DARE you!

How can you mention Christmas on a public site like this?!? Did you even stop to think about the Jewish people, like me?!? How dare you!

HOW.
DARE.
YOU.

I am so OFFENDED. Like you wouldn't BELIEVE. My life has become 10% WORSE for having a faith besides my own THROWN IN MY FACE. I demand complete SECULARISM, damn it!

......

But not really. Amazing rendition of an already amazing song! You get TEN Stars (of David) and not just a FIVE, but a HIGH-FIVE! But since this is the internet and I can't actually give you a high five, you'll have to settle for a plain ol' FIVE. Keep up the great work!

Gravey responds:

Lul!

Thanks for the review.

Sweet bebeh MAN-JESUS...

... That one gave me the chills. THE CHILLS. From what I've heard of your music, you do an excellent job of invoking actual feelings through your sound. You should get into professional composing for movies or vidja games, you know that?

Take this song for instance. You called it forsaken carnival, which is EXACTLY what it sounds like. Listening to it makes me feel lonely and frightened. Good luck finding a song which makes me feel anything, so whatever you did with this song, you did it right! Keep up the good work!

Dungeecount responds:

Thanks :D I'm glad I'm making some sort of impact on people, hope it's a good one though XD I dunno, I'm going to college in the summer (and for the next 2 years of my life LOL) for multimedia design, which includes animation and video game design. I dunno if music will be included, but that doesn't mean I'm going to quit making it :)

Repeat offense

Mr. "Gravey", I'm writing to inform you that the Bureau of Mediocrity (Hereafter referred to as BOM) has become aware of your mastercrafted inspirational activities. This would be the second time BOM has had to contact you in regards to your skillful, well-thought out, non-derivative products. You are hereby convicted of Creativity in the First Degree, the maximum penalty of which is 25 to Life teaching an Accordion & Banjo classes at your local community college. In order to avoid this penalty, I'd suggest hiring a good lawyer and presenting substantial evidence to the court on the appointed date proving your work is ripped off, remixed, or had little effort put into it. Failure to show up in court at the appointed date will result in a warrant being put out and rabid hack-artists driven into a jealous frenzy will be dispatched to bring you in.

Yours,
John Bourgeois
Director of the Bureau of Mediocrity

Gravey responds:

Mmmm....accordion and banjos....what a delicious duo! :-D

I love these reviews you leave. So unique and creative. They really stand out from the rest, and give me a good laugh.

Thanks again.

You're under arrest

Hello, I'm an undercover agent for the United States Bureau of Mediocrity, and we're placing you under arrest for Exceeding Our Expectations. You do realize, sir, that every time you create something that isn't derivative, plagarised, or remixed you take jobs away from the sweaty palmed Sonic-the-hedgehog obsessed shmucks? It demoralizes them and leaves the rest of us with sharp pains in our jaws due to the sheer amount of jaw-droppery your expertly executed, masterfully composed, harmonically stupendous piece of musical art portends.

We'll see you in Mediocourt.

Gravey responds:

This is by far the most unique and enjoyable review I have ever gotten. Thank you very much for this. You are quite creative my friend and you gave me a nice laugh when reading this. Much appreciated!

nice!

My favorite EWJ track! Do you plan on doing a full version sometime? we'll all be the better for it.

Cam3leon responds:

Someday lol. Honestly I'm thinking of remastering this joint, so you should see a full version pretty soon :)

Catchy!

Too bad communism never really works and lowers everyones potential quality of life :( Not that I'm saying capitalism is the best method, but the captialistic societies didn't lose the cold war

jiffypop23 responds:

too bad communism has never been implemented in a society.
thanks for the review though.

Nice sound

Makes me kinda curious if you'll ever release original content. Keep it up! The work, that is. Good. The good work. What?

zirconmusic responds:

Thanks for the comment :) Original songs I've uploaded on NG so far include "Warhead", "Throwdown", "Just Hold On", "Bushido Blade" and "Necromancy". More to come, too.

NIce!

Kinda reminds me of Mass Effect... But it remains it's own thing enough that it doesn't get too derivative sounding.

Burn7 responds:

Hey, thanks! I just barely got ME2, and this song kinda does sound reminiscent of the music. But the stuff in ME is way better haha.

Hot dang!

Dang man! You are one talented composer! Do you use some sort of program to render all those instruments? Or do you have your own orchestra?!? Crazy good stuff man!

DavidOrr responds:

I have Cubase 4, along with orchestral plug-ins for it. Unfortunately I don't have an orchestral under my control yet- maybe one day!

Thanks for the review!

Wow!

Industrial at it's most basic and finest!

And it's a little eerie too, as I've been working on a steampunk style game as of late, and this music is EXACTLY what I had in mind for it!

PuffballsUnited responds:

Sweet! I look forward to seeing my song in action!
