Poor Che...

He just wanted freedom. Too bad the ends don't justify the means, though.
As far as I'm concerned Che = terrorist, although I'll cut him some slack since he lived way back when Cuba was a hellhole.

Good animation, but...

It seems eerily similiar to those Cuboy bits by the edible castle guy.

It was anime. No, it was some sort of anime substitute, like it couldn't decide whether it wanted to be anime or go by the original art style used by Dan Paladin. Wonky camera angles, money-shot sword poses, bland terrain that just get's blurred to create the illusion of speed... All your basic anime stuff. Which isn't exactly a compliment, because personally I find anime to be the lowest common denominator when it comes to artistic styles. 4 for effort, and I'll just hit 5 since it doesn't really matter. Try a style more original next time (unless, god save us all, you actually, for some reason, LIKE anime)

I hate it so much

Damn, I was hoping the anime-ish-ness would phase out this time around. Still, the animation was incredibly smooth (Albeit graphically demanding) The reason I hate it so much is because the sheer quality of dialogue, art, and story completely outshine the generic battle-for-ultimate-power-and-fight-a -bunch-of-people-with-six-different-u ltimate-forms anime styling. Yes, I hate anime, as I'm sure I've stated in my previous review for the first of these films. so here you come along turning me into a hypocrite. I hope you're happy. However, I suppose I could live with the continuation of this mediocre art medium because if you were to attempt to shift your style halfway through the series it would probably have a negative impact on the movie(s) as a whole, but if you want me to score your stuff any higher than the meager rating of 10 and 5 that I'll probably inevitably give it, you'll have to try harder! I'm not the only one with standards out there!

That being said, fudgetacular job, I find myself wanting more!

I haven't read the book or seen the movie, yet I knew it would turn out like that.
"Because shut up." Great line. Also, the part where the evil vampire just comes out and explains his elaborate mirror trap, genius!

a bunch or resident-evil inspired characters running around against money-shot backdrops fighting for whatever reason, probably for "power". Smells like your generic anime to me, pass.
